This original painting was created in 2021. An expressive, abstract figure portrait. I painted this portrait while reflecting on my current emotional state- the brush marks, drips, and crumbling charcoal marks depict an array of confusing emotions. What am I supposed to do with life after this chapter? We don't have answers for things like this, but at least in painting, we can find some version of clarity in how we feel.
