Terms & Conditions

How It Works

A $50 deposit secures your spot in line. This part is non-refundable, since it's reserving your place. Once it's your turn, you'll get a sketch to review. After you approve the sketch and pay the remaining balance, I begin painting.

Payment

  • $50 deposit due at checkout (non-refundable)
  • Remaining balance due ~2 weeks later, once your sketch is ready
  • Painting doesn't start until the balance is paid in full

Refunds & Cancellations

  • The deposit is non-refundable, no matter what.
  • Once painting has started, the remaining balance is non-refundable too. I'm compensating my time and materials at that point.
  • If you need to cancel before painting has started (after your deposit but before you've paid your balance), just reach out— no hard feelings.
  • Add-on items (prints, cards, etc.) can be refunded if I haven't started producing them yet, and you've requested the refund while the project is still active.

If You Go Quiet

I'll always try to reach you if I haven't heard back in a while. But if you're unresponsive for 30+ days after a few good-faith attempts to reach you, I'll consider the project abandoned and your payments non-refundable. If you come back later, it'll be treated as a new commission at current pricing.

Revisions

You get 1 round of revisions on your sketch, included with this rate. A revision is a small change during the painting process (like making the color of their fur a bit darker).

Additional changes, or all big changes (adding pets, major composition changes) may mean a small additional fee— I'll always check with you first.

Rights & Usage

Once it's paid in full, the original artwork is yours to keep and display. I keep the right to share photos of the piece on my socials/portfolio and to sell prints or reproductions, unless you let me know otherwise in writing before it's done.
