This painting is included in my collection Storybook (2025). Throughout our life, we tell ourselves who we are, who others are, and these stories inform our decisions and behavior. When we focus on the good, and accept life as it is, we have the power to write new stories and change our life.

The "good" for me is represented in the Small Joys. When my partner, Joseph, and I first got together, he would write me love notes and put them on the bedside table for me to wake up to. Both of us also really connected over our love of coffee shops when we first started dating. This painting is a reminder that sometimes the small things don't feel small. They're everything.
