Our First Halloween

Mine and Joseph's first Halloween together, we got dressed up and wandered around downtown Tampa, Florida with some of our best friends. This photo was taken when we stopped for ice cream.

It was last minute...

...neither of us had a costume.

I decided to use my make up creatively, and Joseph went as the most handsome man on the planet (see what I did there?)

This was one of our last weeks here in Tampa before I moved across the country for what I thought was a full-time corporate job... and quit that for my art career.

Good times.

Trick or Treat

This original 5x7'' watercolor is inspired by my somewhat stressed-out, first experiences trick or treating. Everyone looked so scary! It just seriously made me nervous.

But... Somehow the image of cute ghost costumes always cheered me up.

They just looked so silly that it brought the light and laughter out of the holiday for me.

This spooky season, I'd love for me and Tazo to go as ghosts.

But... I'm not sure Tazo will be into that. I'll keep you updated, haha.
